    Tomikawa fills a great niche. Its a value driven sushi bar with easy parking, limited wait times and good food. The service is great and it's family friendly. There's a place for that. Sushi for 2 under 75 bucks. Really. Not every meal needs to be a big to do. Sometimes you just don't want to cook....

    It is rare that I give a restaurant a 5 star rating , because that is saying that the place has to be spectacular and perfect. I ran into this sushi place by accident on a road trip. The tempura was so crunchy and perfect and delicious. The sushi was outstanding . The food is delicately made with attention to detail. And the best thing of all it is greatly price, you will have a great meal and you don't have to spend a lot.😁

    Great food, I can't complain about anything. Their waiters treat you like you owe them something, garbage customer service. Usually the busboys are nice though.

    My new AYCE sushi. I've been to quite a number of AYCE sushi establishments and I would have to say this is the best. The food quality is amazing and even the hot foods were delicious and made right. Other reviews mentioned about horrible service, which I would disagree on. It was busy but service was still great. Definitely will be back.

    Do not order AYCE!!! We had a horrible experience at this place. Four of my company went here dinner and ordered AYCE. On first orders, we mainly started with salads and appetizer menu. At the same time, we placed second set of orders with main items rolls. When we’re done with first set of orders, we waited a quite long time but second set never came even after the dishes were taken away from the table. We asked the server where’s the second order, she then went to a lady who appears to be a manager. The manager lady came over to our table and said something we never heard of in any AYCE in Irvine!!. You guys had left over (unfinished portion) from the first set, so I canceled your second set. We’ll never return here.
